How does acupuncture work?

What is it commonly used for?

Acupuncture can be used in the treatment of chronic and acute pain, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological disorders, respiratory and immune conditions, women's health, sports injuries, emotional well being and much more.

Remedial Massage

Remedial massage is a manual therapy which aims to to locate and repair damaged areas of the body and speed up the body’s own healing processes. Problems with the muscles can trigger or radiate pain to other parts of the body. Remedial massage aims to trace the original reason for the pain, tackling both the cause of the problem and the symptoms.

The pressure applied in this healing treatment can either be strong and deep or gentle and shallow, depending on the problem.

Remedial massage Includes techniques such as myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, sports massage and trigger point therapy.

What is it commonly used for:

Remedial massage treats muscles that are damaged, knotted, tense or immobile. It is useful for a number of problems that affect the muscles, tendons and bones.

It is commonly used in the treatment of headaches, migraines, neck and back pain, golfers and tennis elbow, Sciatica, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, stiff muscles, postural issues and more.
